Each session is tailored to suit your needs. We clarify and agree on a your desired outcome at the beginning of each session. You may know exactly what you kind of treatment you want, but more often than not we “mix and match” to tailor a suitable treatment to you. For this reason

I charge the same hourly rate, £51, for most treatments,

except MLD and Deep Oscillation® and the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® (ATMAT).

Ideally, I would recommend initially having 4 weekly sessions because your body needs this time to get the most from the treatments. To make this easier for you I have a reduced rate of £184 if you choose to have 4, weekly, one hour sessions (payment is at the first session). This works out at £46 a session.

If you commit to 8 sessions you can take them over a three month period for £368 (payment is in advance). This again works out at £46 a session but you can spread the sessions out over a longer period.

A home visit is charged on an individual basis, but expect to pay around £150. But then each additional treatment is charged at the hourly rate, so two hours would cost £201, three £252, etc.

Weekends - I love to massage, but I also love to spend time with my family, so I tend not to work on weekends. For this reason I charge double on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays.

• 70 minutes for £59
• 1.5 hours for £74 and
• 2 hours for £100.

A half hour treatment costs £34 and a 45 minute treatment £42 - both not recommended as a first treatment.

For most treatments the length of the session is dependent on your preference, obviously the longer the session, the more massage you get. Some treatments work best for a longer time period, for example a full session of Aromatherapy Lymphatic Massage takes 70-90 minutes. If you are not sure which length of time would suit you best then please contact me and I will be happy to discuss it with you.

The prices are for the length of the session, which includes the treatment and a chat beforehand (How are you today? How was last time? What are we doing today?) and afterwards to help the transition back into the "outside" world.

During the first session we will have a chat and I will ask you a few questions and note the answers (entirely confidential of cause). The treatment time includes the care and attention beforehand, afterwards, advice, and of cause the hands-on part of it. On the other hand, more often than not that initial consultation is useful for you, too, as it clarifies what you want, and/or you may get advice or information.

You might find on-line sessions useful, particularly if it is not possible to meet physically, either due to the Corona virus, or mobility, location, childcare or other reasons.

All treatments are available as a gift voucher. You can send me a cheque or transfer the money and I post out the voucher to you or to the recipitant.

Pregnancy massage

Pregnancy massage is charged at the same rate as all other massage, even Arvigo techniques. From week 20 onwards it is advisable to book a 70 or 90 minute session.

Deep Oscillation®

Deep Oscillation treatment is charged £56 per hour. Current massage clients are offered one Deep Oscillation treatment for £51.

How to pay

Most people pay by cash or cheque. There are two cash machines nearby. I also accept card payments. Alternatively, you can pay by balance transfer (account name: Regina Dengler trading as Touching Well, sort code: 04-00-03, account number 56713983).

You can also set up a monthly standing order. If you choose this option I will guarantee the same price for at least five years (I normally increase my charges by £1-£2 every year).

Appointment times

Appointments are available Mondays to Thursdays daytime.

My practice is on Carlton Hill, a short bus ride on the lilac line from Nottingham City Centre with a one minute walk from the Standhill Road bus stop. I offer secure bicycle parking. There is on-street car parking and a public car park. The car park is free for two hours, but you'll need to get a ticket at the machine.
