Hi there,
I am considering laser tattoo removal and have read that lymphatic massage might help the process of getting rid of the toxins.
My reason for enquiry is because I had breast cancer in 2008 and had removal of 2 lymph nodes during the mastectomy so feel my resilience may be lower and I also have a lower than average white cell count.
My tattoo is on my lower back so I don't know what the process would be? Can you advise if you could help or have heard of this before?

Manual Lymph Drainage and Deep Oscillation are likely to support your recovery. The reason for this is that they both move fluids, which are part of the normal healing process. If your tattoo was on your arm or upper back of the same side your breast surgery, I would leave the tattoo alone. But since it is on your lower back, there should be no additional problem. This, of cause, is always assuming that you have your tattoo removed by someone who knows what they are doing. Should you have treatment of MLD and Deep Oscillation, book it for the day after the procedure. Best of luck with your tattoo removal. If you have any question, give me a ring or contact me via the form.
